gbish is the personal page for Graham Bishop, a 23 year old freelance designer, developer and consultant based in Dublin, Ireland. The site contains a collection of his active projects, portfolio work as well as his online blog and other resources.
Behind The Site
The site is designed using Macromedia Fireworks and converted into pure tableless design using xhtml and cascading style sheets. The site is run through a custom engine which allows for unlimited number of sections and information to be added to the site. The core engine of the site runs through the PHP 4 scripting language and uses a mixture of XML and MySQL to store and manage data.
In order to keep code editing to a minimum, the engine is controlled through a custom content management system which allows for the easy addition and editing of online content.
