The DCU Games Society hoodie was designed as the society’s visual representation on and off the Dublin City University campus. The aim of the design was to achieve instant recognition of the society and its mascot and yet still retain a basic look and feel. The design of the hoodie features the mascot on the right breast of the front and also a larger version on the reverse. Below the mascot on the front and also on the sleeve is the society’s name, “DCU Games Soc”. The reverse features the domain name, games.dcu.ie below the mascot.
impact
The hoodie was an instant hit among students on the DCU campus and has received wide recognition from the societies and clubs on campus. The instantly recognisable design and mascot have helped the DCU Games Society expand and become one of the largest societies on campus. Two successful orders have been placed for the hoodie with future orders planned.
